Hero or Villain
Alexander was regarded as a great leader by many. He civilized barbaric lands, conquered the Persian empire, and brought new, successful strategies into warfare. However many argue that the cons outweigh the good. He overworked his troops, and took land by brute force, even destroying the culture of the eastern lands. In the end, I believe Alexander was a hero. His uniting of the world brought much more peace, and created the base for our world today.
My last wishes would be...

Hellenistic Culture
After Alexanders conquering spree, he left a huge imprint of Hellenistic culture right in the center of the world. This lead to the development of the western culture. Just take a stroll through Washington dc, all of it is Greek architecture. How about our sports and athletics? Greek. Even this sentence your reading owes a lot to the Greek language. Nearly everything we do and know is thanks to Alexander and his empire.
